Artist's Description
In the heart of the Florida Keys, lies Bahai Honda State Park, a natural sanctuary for wildlife.
If driving from Miami to Key West, you'll know you're almost there as you come to the end of 7-mile bridge. Be sure to stop and enjoy the view and step back in time looking at the old Bahai Honda Rail Bridge.

Lovely composition Portia. Pardon an Aussie for asking but what is the gap in the bridge? l/f
Portia Olaughlin replied:
Thanks Denise, great question. Since the bridge was no longer in use after a road was built, two of the truss spans were removed to allow for boat traffic. You can walk up to the top but not all the way out to where the gap is.
